GENERAL POLICIES

Because all products are hand-painted, hand-cut, and hand-assembled, finished products will only be similar in overall appearance, not exact.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Painted Thingz products are designed to last for year; however, proper care and handling is required. Here are a few tips to preserve the longevity of our products:

be gentle and handle with care always
do NOT expose to excessive moisture, such as submerging in liquid, wiping with drenched clothes
do NOT clean with any chemical or natural/non-chemical cleaner
use dry cloth to clean
keep out of direct sunlight to reduce possibility of color fading
only dust product with dry clothe or an appropriate dusting apparatus
limit or reframe from all handling
keep out of reach of irresponsible and/accident-prone hands

NOTE: Painted Thingz is not responsible for damages of any kind after customer has received their products. If damages occur, the customer must reorder a replica.

Order Submission

Submitting an order form does not confirm an order.
Customers will be contacted by email to solidify details.
Orders are not confirmed until the customer receives a Painted Thingz invoice.
Invoices will only be emailed once. Customers have 48 hours to pay invoice in full once its emailed. After 48 hours, invoices will be deleted and order must be resubmitted by customer.
Full payment must be made before assembly of orders will start.
The customer will be sent a photo of the finalized project before it is mailed.
Processing time (from paid invoice): 1-8 weeks to complete (depending on custom specifications, product availability, and order quantity).
Shipping cost is the responsibility of customer and will be included with final product cost. Shipping time: generally 3-5 business days or 3-5 weeks for international shipping.
The aforementioned policies apply to all orders accepted by Painted Thingz.

No personal checks - only checks from an organization or chapter are accepted.
Order processing can take 2 or more business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
Receipts given upon request or sent via email.

eGift Card

When purchasing a Painted Thingz eGift Card, please fill out form completely and accurately.
The customer will receive email notifications on the purchase and status of the eGift Card once purchase is complete.
All Painted Thingz eGift Cards will expire 10 days from purchase.
eGift Cards (or digital gift cards) have to be purchased separately from items that require physical shipping.
Purchased eGift Cards cannot be refunded for any reason.

Orders

Bulk

Bulk Orders count begins at 12 or more of the same exact item.
Additional charges will apply for customization of each individual item purchased.
Requires at least 3 weeks to complete. Official time will be determined on an order-by-order basis.
Bulk Orders must be submitted through our online order form.

Cancellation & Modification

An order cannot be cancelled or modified once it has been placed. Refer to Return & Exchange for additional information.

Customization

Compliance is not guaranteed for all customization requests.
Not all items/products can be customized.
Legally some requests are not acceptable.

Custom Orders

Custom orders not normally or regularly offered are welcomed by Painted Thingz. Submit idea/concept through the online order form.
Additional charges will apply for customization of each individual item purchased.
Requires at least 1-8 weeks to complete from the paid invoice. Official time will be determined on an order-by-order basis.
Sample pictures are a plus!

Pre-Orders

For Bulk Orders only.

Expedited Orders

Painted Thingz offers expedited services for products needed within 5 days of a specific date.
The fee for all expedited orders is $60. This fee does not include shipping cost(s) or customization(s).
If an expedited order is not completed in time, the customer will be refunded 40% of their final cost (excluding shipping fees), and their order will be completed immediately.
The remaining 60% covers labor and time invested.

Liability Disclaimer

Neither Painted Thingz nor the customer is liable to delays in performance and/or shipping caused by acts of God, war (declared or undeclared), government regulation, terrorism, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, pandemics, curtailment of transportation facilities, or similar occurrence beyond the party’s control, making it impossible, illegal, or commercially impracticable for one or both parties to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions of Sale, in whole or in part.

Limitation of Liability

Customer acknowledges that Painted Thingz is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages including but, not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses (even if Painted Thingz has been advised of the possibility of such damages), or personal injuries or death resulting from use or sale of the its merchandise.

Pricing, Availability, & Colors

All prices are subject to change without notice.
Painted Thingz reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change or discontinue styles, colors, sizes or fabrics.
All orders are subject to availability.

Product Availability

Painted Thingz' products are assemble-to-order in which assembly starts according to demand and/or to when order is placed.
Our inventory fluctuates and can delay ship date, as well.
Required time to produce a finished product is determined on an individual bases.
Back order is not available.
Our products and/or availability is subject to change without notice.
Restock of sold out products is not guaranteed.
